Castlerock Holiday Park has proven to be an excellent location for MeatBox. It sees regular foot traffic from neighbouring static and mobile caravan pitches, our proximity to the railway station, nearby beach and golf club draws passing custom, ample parking spaces and the provision of outdoor seating in the form of picnic benches also make us an attractive option to customers from further afield.

MeatBox has fostered a good working relationship with the holiday park owners whose land we are pitched on. Maintaining a private pitch agreement benefits the current business model as there is quick and reliable access for any maintenance required.


The sale will be subject to agreement being reached between the three parties involved who are: the seller, the purchaser and the owners of Castlerock Holiday Park. This is to ensure that service levels and mutual agreements are maintained which are the cornerstone of the success at the current site. We will offer introductions between interested purchasers and the land owners after initial discussions.

Staff: the core team at MeatBox are experienced and cross-trained to provide ample cover for serving and food production roles within the business, each new employee has been required to follow food safety procedures, and several have a Food Hygiene Certificate. They are able to complete relevant paperwork and procedures pertaining to this. The existing staff work reliably together and would allow for seamless and timely transition to new ownership.

Recipes and Supplier Network: Details of the secret behind the MeatBox's menu success and the robust supply chain supporting it will be offered on acquisition of the business.

Safety and Compliance: A full gas certificate history and proof of adherence to health standards can be provided, underscoring the business's commitment to operational excellence. This is evidenced to the general public by a 5 star food hygiene rating which has been held from the first rating inspection.

​​Financial Overview & Offer Details

Sale price is set at offers in excess of £50,000 and a summary of financial performance is available upon business viewing. Pitch fee will be agreed with Castlerock Holiday Park. Quarterly bill for electricity usage is calculated from a dedicated electricity meter. Existing Direct Debit is in place with Calor for gas usage which is readily available and stored on site by Castlerock Holiday Park.
